Gavin Sutter

Climbing, photography, fly fishing, and mountain biking…is there anything Gavin isn’t an expert in?

Audrey Murray

Wilderness Leader

Audrey is lucky enough to call the Sierra Nevada home, and having completed her degree in outdoor recreation leadership she is excited to join us for another year of climbing, whitewater rafting, horsepacking, and backpacking.

Kris Parker

Wilderness Leader

From the trees to the slopes, Kris has spent years in the outdoor industry and is excited to take is knowledge to the Sierra Nevada backcountry with Augusta this year.

Employment

Interested in working for Camp Augusta Wilderness? We’re accepting Trip Leader applications for the summer of 2019! Wilderness applicants go through the same intensive application process as our main summer staff with some focus on wilderness-specific skill-sets.

Basic Requirements:

  • Must have experience back country camping, and either have a WFR certification, or have the ability to acquire one
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Must be present and excited for main-season dates ranging from May 14th to August 10th. Pre and post-season work, starting in April and ending at the beginning of October, is also available.
