The Teen Adventure Trip is a hybrid wilderness trip that is begins in the Plumas National Forest. This trip features an entire summer’s worth of activity in one week. Campers attending this trip will experience an opportunity to ride horse on trail, hike along side pack animals, rock climb, ride mountain bikes, and float down the river. This trip will also center around wilderness bushcraft skills. Camper will learn the basics of navigation, setting snare traps, native foraging practices, fishing, and primitive fire making. Campers will be accompanied by two ranglers and an AMGA rock climbing guide. This trip is geared towards campers age 14-17. This is an outdoor adventure that offers a sampling of different experiences. This trip is a great way for your teen to explore Northern California and the natural beauty of the outdoors. Challenge Ratings

Experience: Explore – This trip is designed for campers who have done a Classic trip or have other relevant experience.  If you are looking to learn more about backcountry navigation, bushcraft, horseriding and climb on amazing granite, this trip can be a great choice.

Endurance: 2 – Our packs will weigh 1/3rd of our body weight and we will be hiking, climbing, horse riding, or mt. biking every day.
